I have been saying for a little while now that I think the Bucks are overrated. Their regular season scoring and depth will not translate to winning in the playoffs. I will be surprised to see them make it out of the 2nd round. They are way too dependent on Giannis and the shortened rotations in the playoffs will increase this burden. They will get a taste of that tonight with the Rockets coming into Milwaukee. The Rockets are a team that can actually score, and are healthy for this contest. When the Bucks played the Rockets in Houston the Rockets were without Chris Paul and Eric Gordon who will be starting tonight. This is a game where James Harden will be able to show everybody why he should be the MVP and not Giannis. Harden has been on fire all year. He has been cooking just about every NBA teamincluding the Bucks where he scored 42 in their earlier matchup. With Gordon and Paul back the Rockets should have no issue winning tonight.
Not only has the Rockets offense been great but their defense has vastly improved this year. The Bucks’ regular season schedule has not been very difficult since they are in the eastern conference. This game should have more of a playoff type feel and I feel like these are games the Rockets have thrived in this year. I love the Rockets against the spread and moneyline. Also most of the money is on the Bucks but the spread has dropped from 4 to 3.5 since I started this blog. I would venture to say the Rockets would be the “sharp” choice tonight.
