Wow. Talk about a collapse last night. Team LeBron went on a 30-9 run to end the All-Star game. Team Giannis was up 18 early in the second half. But I digress. I don’t really know what to do with myself right now. The NBA is off for a few days so I’m forced to look into other sports. Full disclosure I do not know much about hockey but this is the game I liked best.
The Arizona Coyotes travel to Calgary for a mid-day matinee today. The game starts at 2pm local time. The one thing that stuck out to me in this game was the pricing. Calgary is priced at -225 and the puck-line is +115. They bookmakers are basically saying Calgary is guaranteed to win. I looked into things a little bit and I have to say I agree. Right not Calgary is the best team in the western conference. This is their first home game after a rocky road trip where they went 1-3. There one win came in their last game of the trip on Saturday in Pittsburgh. That’s a big win against a great team that should get them back on the right track. The Coyotes are also coming off a win but their’s was at home. Arizona has not been very good on the road so far this year. Also their last trip to Calgary resulted in a 7-1 loss. From the outside looking in Calgary is clearly the better team. The Flames have an even bigger advantage playing at home and at a weird time. In the season series between these two teams, the Coyotes have been outscored 13-2. I’m expecting more of the same today and I’m taking Calgary.
