The Eagles Falcons game Thursday night was very sloppy. The weather was very humid and the players did not yet look ready to play. This has been the result of the new CBA where training camp practice is not as difficult as it was in the past. Players are not in as great shape to start the season anymore. These humid weather conditions can have an effect on totals if the players are not yet at 100%.
The Titans are playing the Dolphins in Miami this week with the total at 45. This game will be played in 88 degree heat with 76% humidity. It should also be raining. The Dolphins will try to be a running team built around Kenyan Drake this season. The Titans are counting on Marcus Mariota to continue to get better and become a great QB. I think both teams will get off to a slow start in this game. The Dolphins have an underrated secondary that should be able to keep the Titans from scoring a lot of points early. The Titan’s defense is slightly better than the Dolphin’s offense but the humid weather may slow them a bit. I do not think Miami will score a lot early as well. I see this game being low scoring early. Whichever team makes the better second half adjustments will win, but I am going with the first half under 22.5.
Dolphins Titans 1H UNDER 22.5 (-105)
