New York Giants – YES +300
The Giants are coming off an abysmal season. They went 3-13 and had turmoil surround them all year long. After having one of the best defenses in the previous year, the Giants came into last season expecting to be a Super Bowl Contender. Along with their 0-4 start they also lost their best offensive weapon Odell Beckham Jr. in the fourth game. As the season progressed head coach Ben McAdoo also subsequently lost control of the team and ended up being fired before the season ended. The defense was nowhere near at the level it was in the previous year, and the offensive line was also very bad. The Giants have re-tooled their offense through drafting top prospect RB Saquon Barkley and signing Left Tackle Nate Solder to shore up their o-line woes. These additions along with OBJ coming back healthy should be a huge help to Eli Manning and their offense. The talent on the defense is still there as the Giants are solid at all three levels. They were expected to be Super Bowl contenders last year but were unexpectedly derailed. They have the talent on paper to live up to that same expectation this year which gives this pick a lot of value.
